3D modeling was used for this proposal to cut roadway cross sections, calculate earthwork and anticipate the impacts the widening of the existing ramps have on residential neighborhoods and surrounding environment. Using the 3D model, we were able to superimpose the proposed roadway on top of a google map aerial view to show the client the final roadway footprint.
