Project Info

The project consists of widening of SR 414 (Maitland Boulevard) from four to six lanes – with the widening to the inside median. The work effort included the planning, design and permitting of the roadway, roadway plans, maintenance of traffic, ADA and safety reviews, utility coordination, signalization, signing and pavement marking plans, cost estimates and construction supervision. This project utilized 3D modeling to redesign the roadway and pinpointed utility conflicts early in the design phase to avoid potential drainage errors in construction caused by the limited 2D design process. This saved the client millions of dollars in construction cost.
